Social Media: To all Entrepreneurs, ask yourself ‘Why should I care about it for my Business?’

Or you might want to ask, ‘Is that important for my business?’

THE ANSWER: It actually varies on the type of business that you have. But, generally speaking, every businesses should go through the process of embracing innovation. That means, just same as other the different types of businesses may it be about selling goods or services, there is a need for a business to acquire new techniques in shouting their name out in the online marketplace for the purpose of sustaining and increasing profit. And, looking into business advertising and marketing innovation, social engagement comes in – the use of Social Media.

What’s the main point of being sociable online?

Reach target audience across the online world! Sounds good to be true. Well, it is true!
Traditional type of advertising and marketing still works, but how would you like to be known across the world? Through the use of social media, it opens the opportunity for business owners to gather target audience, discuss with them humanely, and turn them into customers; turn them into sales!
‘For selling products, accept orders and ship-out items anywhere around the globe.’
‘For service providers, offer your professional skills to clients that needed your capacity.’
Being sociable online gives limitless power to earn profit. MORE PROFIT.

Social Media is more than just a necessity. How come?

Many entrepreneurs or business owners are having a debate whether to be more inclined in social engagement or just be present and not focus about it. And, the main reason about such debate is not having a full understanding of what social media can bring out.

Brand Exposure. Your business have been earning even before the birth of social communities. But, how about maximizing your brand exposure? Geographically speaking, you can definitely maximize the exposure of your business name or brand beyond your locality. And, you will be amazed that there is more that you will get.
Customers buy people. What I am trying to convey is that customers only buy from those people or business name that they know, very well.

So, think about it. Expose!

For business owners, it is a very cost effective (can also be cost-free) marketing strategy. Create a Facebook fan page, a Twitter profile, or creating accounts from other known social media platforms will not cost you bucks. After which, all you have to do is gather fans and followers, share product or service updates through Facebook. Have a small discussion with your followers on Twitter about your business, plus it’s a perfect time for you to ask them what target audience want.

Therefore, Social media brings in or generates leads, turning them into customers – a way to grow your sales!

    I would disagree on the “free”, as it can be pretty time consuming to be social. The vast majority of companies just rush in without having any plan at all. I’ve done that and it doesn’t translate to revenue. Now I know better 😀

      Unfortunately it is because many times it is done wrong! If you are doing it wrong, then you are right, it is a wasted effort and there is no ROI.
