miriam Rachel depression

I have been on hiatus for a while. I needed time to collect my thoughts and change around my site. I lost traffic and interest over the past month but that is okay. I needed that time to evaluate things and now that I have done that, I know what to do.

I stopped doing my podcasts. I felt there was no more room in my life for them. It served its purpose at the time. Not anymore. I will write the occasional post on social media. However, I will mostly be writing posts about depression, mental health, grief and death, and anything else that I decide to write about. Is that depressing? No because it is reality of life. It is time to stop hiding from all of that. I felt that only focusing on writing posts that are business and social media related wasn’t allowing me to really express who I am. I lost passion in this site because of that. It all started feeling like a lie. Keeping up with the blog felt like a chore, not something I was passionate about. That is not how it should have been felt so things needed to change.

The truth is that so many business owners are afraid to admit that they may be dealing with depression or any other mental illness. If they admit this part of themselves, they are afraid they are making themselves vulnerable and allowing themselves to be judged. Maybe they are right. However, if they are being judged, then those judging them are not worth doing business with, don’t you agree? I don’t want to be doing business with or friends with anyone who refuses to see past the stigma. People who refuse to see past the stigma are ignorant and I don’t want to associate with ignorant people.

Many sources have stated that approximately 350 million people worldwide suffer from depression. Depression is not sadness, as sadness is a temporary emotion that everyone feels from time to time – and are able to overcome the feeling in a short period of time. Depression is extreme sadness that is never ending, and it affects your ability to enjoy things, overall well-being and self esteem in a negative way. Depression comes in different forms and can range in severity from mild mood fluctuations but functional to being completely non-functional and being unable to leave home. Women are more likely to suffer from depression than men, but it affects everyone in general. It is a leading cause of disability everywhere, and if depression is not treated, it can lead to suicide.

The good news is, there are treatments for depression. Medication is can be tough because the side effects are usually quite adverse, but there are therapies available that can be quite effective. Depression is just as much of a serious illness as cancer. However, if the person who is affected by depression is willing to recover, it can happen. It will take a lot of work and the kind of work that it takes is a lot more complicated than just thinking positive thoughts.

I suffer from depression, and I am no where near recovered, but I am working towards it. It is a very rough ride but no one said anything in life is easy. Depression to be is another bull to be taken by the horns.

If you are looking for natural ways to treat this mental illness, then you may want to look for the?best kratom for depression. I believe in natural medicine and this has been known to help many sufferers. There is no reason to live a lower quality of life due to depression.
