Okay let’s take a break from social media blogging just for today. I want to talk about the fact that there are so many things that will get us angry and upset in life, however, it is up to us how we handle and react to it. We can choose to either have a bad day or good day (now let’s not talk about trauma or anything extreme, this does not apply to any of that as that is a whole different issue all together) due to any kind of mishap that may have occurred.

Without going into details, I have been dealing with some very draining challenges lately. Many of us do and hey- it’s part of life. And tonight me, my husband and my kids were invited to a friend’s birthday party at a restaurant, and we went even though I was not feeling really up to it. However, things were going okay until a mutual friend who was sitting across from me downright attacked me for expressing my opinion about something that had no effect on her what so ever. Even though she had been aware of the particular situation I have been in lately, it did not stop her from attacking me. I was afraid I was going to say something I would regret, so I immediately left the restaurant to walk outside to calm down- and took a few Instagram pictures of the scenery around it. So the point of this post is not to go pointing fingers at the woman. I just wanted to say that even though I had an upsetting incident occur earlier this evening, I am not letting it ruin the rest of my night. Why? Because am choosing not to let it get into the way of me looking forward to some time to relax and watch some nice videos. I also have other articles to write and I want to get started on it tonight. I could have easily have not bothered with any of it because of being too upset. However, after blowing off some steam, I am now intending to have a great evening 🙂

The next time you have some kind of mishap, decide how you will let it affect the rest of your day. Not to mention, the more negative you feel, the more negative incidents you will draw to yourself. So my advice is to blow off some steam, and then act as if nothing had happened! Have a great day/night everyone!

By the way, here is one of the pictures I had taken tonight while I was walking around. Can you see the Moon?
